BomBraai is digitally signed with our official certificate, guaranteeing the app has not been tampered with. It contains no malware, trackers, or harmful code.

Why does my phone show a warning?

Android shows a security prompt for any app installed outside the Google Play Store. This is a standard protective measure — not a sign that the app is unsafe. The BomBraai app is hosted securely on our own servers at bombraai.net.za, and is the same app that would be available on the Play Store. You are simply downloading it directly from us instead.

What does “Install Unknown Apps” mean?

This is a one-time permission you grant to your browser (e.g. Chrome) to allow it to install apps. It does not enable Developer Mode or root your phone. For extra security, you can turn this permission back off after installing BomBraai.

📲 Installation Guide

Download the App

Tap the “Download for Android” button above using your phone’s browser (Chrome, Samsung Internet, etc.).

You may see a message saying the file “might be harmful”. This is a standard Android message for all apps outside the Play Store. Tap “Download anyway” to continue.

Open the Downloaded File

Once the download completes, tap “Open” in the download notification at the top of your screen. If you missed it, open your Files or Downloads app and tap BomBraai.apk.

Allow Installation

A pop-up will say: “Your phone is not allowed to install unknown apps from this source.”

Tap “Settings”, then toggle “Allow from this source” to ON. Press the back button to return to the installer.

This is a one-time setup. You won’t need to do this again for future updates from BomBraai.

Install & Open

Tap “Install” when prompted. Once it finishes, tap “Open” to launch BomBraai and create your account.

Stay secure: After installing, you can go to Settings > Apps > Chrome > Install unknown apps and turn the permission back to OFF.

Can’t find the file? Open your phone’s Files or Downloads app and look for BomBraai.apk.

Updates: When a new version is available, we’ll notify you. Simply download the latest version from this page — it will update automatically over the existing installation.
